Genuine Audi / VW parts Replacing your high pressure fuel pump cam follower every 15,000 to 30,000 miles is cheap insurance against major engine damage. This job can usually be done in about 1 hour by the do-it-yourself owner. If you've got 45k miles or more on your car and you haven't changed your cam follower now is the time to do it. Tuned motors and modified fuel pumps will stress the part even more. The camshaft lobe will eventually wear through the camshaft follower ruining your camshaft and fuel pump. Metal debris from these parts failing can cause even worse damage. Our kit is the only one that comes with a new fuel pump seal.
